We wanted to bring back some of the fond history of the original Coachman Inn and once again serve great food to our guests of the Travelodge Hotel and the local area. Our Chef and Staff welcome you to try our new menu and specialty dishes, still keeping with some of our traditional pub-fair. The Old Coachman Eatery wants to once again be your home away from home. Not very good. My husband and I staying at the hotel (which is GREAT) decided to try dinner there. First the waiter failed to mention they had a special home made meal we saw as another guy walked with a plate upstairs to the pub. Then brought my husband a draft beer which I accidentally tipped all over the table and when he explained what happened the waiter just shrugged and asked if he wanted another (which he did) only there was no offer of reduced price. Food was quite greasy including club sandwhich! Seems the restaurant policy is not to care if your satisfied because if you don't like the food you cannot exchange, and there are no discounts for spilled beer lol. I would absolutely stay at the hotel again but NOT eat at the restaurant. If you stay at the hotel it's well worth the trip to another place and seems most do, each night we have been here never seen more then a couple of tables occupied. Go anywhere but here trust me.
